Houston Announces Schedule Addition

Cougars to meet Our Lady of the Lake University at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, inside Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Men's Basketball program added a game to its 2020-21 schedule on Wednesday, Head Coach Kelvin Sampson announced.
The fifth-ranked Cougars will play host to NAIA member Our Lady of the Lake at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, inside the Fertitta Center. It will be the first time in school history Houston has faced Our Lake of the Lake.
The game will be shown on ESPN+ and can be heard on 950 AM KPRC and the TuneIn app.
Under Head Coach Chris Dial, Our Lady of the Lake has posted a 1-3 overall record this season with a 61-58 win over Texas State. The Saints have had eight games postponed or canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Junior forward Ruben Monzon leads the team with 13.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Senior guard Ethan White stands second with 10.3 points per contest and leads the team with 2.0 steals per game.
