11 Cougars Tabbed to CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

Cougars lead The American with 11 selections
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving team leads the American Athletic Conference with 11 selections to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American team for the 2019-20 season.

Zarena Brown, Peyton Kondis, Laura Laderoute, Mykenzie Leehy, Ioanna Sacha, Jolie Blodgett, Katie Deininger, Chase Farris, Gaby Jimenez Peon, Angeliki Mavrantza, and Isabel Tank highlight the team for the Cougars. The Cougars landed five members to the first team and six Honorable Mentions.

The group represents 1.479 NCAA swimmers and divers who achieved a minimun grade point average of 3.50 or higher and were invited to compete at an NCAA Postseason event.
