Houston Heads North to Face Temple

Saturday’s game to be aired on The American Digital Network
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball team heads to Philadelphia for a Saturday afternoon matchup with Temple at 1 p.m. CT at McGonigle Hall.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• Houston enters Saturday's game with a 12-13 overall record this season, including a 5-6 mark in conference play.
• Houston has four players averaging double-digits this season led by Dorian Branch with 11.6 points per game, followed by Dymond Gladney with 11.5 points per game and Tatyana Hill 10.8.
• Houston is averaging 62.3 points per game on 38.6 percent shooting from the field and a 27.6 percent mark from beyond the 3-point line. The Cougars allow 66.5 points per game on defense while letting opponents shoot 41.2 percent and 30.3 percent from the field and beyond the arc, respectively.
• Hill leads Houston on the glass, pulling down 6.7 rebounds per contest.
• Houston is a force to be reckoned with on the boards this season, averaging 38.0 rebounds per game including over 15 offensive boards per game.

Under Coach Hughey, Houston has been one of the most active defensive teams in the country over the past two seasons.
