
Houston Faces Texas State on Wednesday

Cougars meet Bobcats at 7 p.m., Wednesday inside the Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Men's Basketball program returns to action when it plays host to Texas State at 7 p.m., Wednesday, inside the Fertitta Center.
The Cougars (3-2) enter this week's game following a 112-73 win over Houston Baptist on Nov. 26 inside the Fertitta Center. It was the team's biggest win of the young season and was the fourth-most points scored in American Athletic Conference history.
Sophomore guard Nate Hinton posted 24 points with 15 rebounds to set career highs in both categories and record the third double-double of his career. He was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for his performance.
Freshman guard Marcus Sasser finished with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting against the Huskies. He became only the second freshman in school history to drain 6+ 3-pointers in a game and the first since Lamar Roberson in the 2005-06 season opener.

GAME PROMOTIONS
For Wednesday's game, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a free For the City laptop sticker.
Fans also will be able to take photos with Shasta Claus on the Fertitta Center concourse for Wednesday's game and for all Houston Men's and Women's Basketball games through Dec. 19.

Regular-season single-game tickets for the University of Houston Men's Basketball program's 2019-20 season are on sale now, and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets soon before all are gone.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets at the Houston Athletics Ticket Office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, and any time at uhcougars.com/tickets.
Fans who were unable to purchase season tickets can get a head start for the 2020-21 season by placing their names on the Priority Waiting List for only a $50 deposit. To reserve places on the Priority Waiting List, fans can register by clicking here and follow the appropriate links from the right column.
