Cougars meet Aggies in new home on ESPN2
HOUSTON – The Houston Cougar Women's Basketball team kicks off a new era of Cougar Basketball, when they welcome Texas A&M for the program's first game inside the Fertitta center on Thursday. Tipoff against the Aggies is scheduled for 6 p.m., with the game airing live on ESPN2.
Fans who can't join the Cougars for the Fertitta Center opener can see the game live on ESPN2 with Pam Ward and Carolyn Peck on the call. Fans can also hear the contest against Texas A&M live via the home for Women's Basketball Radio, UHCougars.com/wbbradio. Live stats will be available courtesy of SideArm, and the official Twitter account of Houston Women's Basketball, @UHCougarWBB, will offer updates throughout the game.

As a team, the Aggies are shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 36.8 from beyond the 3-point line, leading to 71.5 points per game. The Aggies hold opponents to just 58.7 points per game while allowing them to shoot 37.0 percent and 30.6 percent from the field and 3-point line, respectively.
Texas A&M is led offensively by Chennedy Carter who has scored 19.0 points per contest in her five games this season. Aaliyah Wilson adds 15.3 per night, while Kayla Wells scores 11.7 and Ciera Johnson sits at 10.0 per game.
