Cougars Announce 2017 Summer Camp Dates

HOUSTON -- The Houston Cougar soccer program and head coach Diego Bocanegra have announced dates for the program's upcoming summer camp schedule, which will be divided into three different camps ranging from June 12-June 29 at the Carl Lewis Complex.
COUGAR CUBS -- Ages 5-14
Cougar Cub Half Camp
The Cougar Cub Half Camp will run from 9 a.m. -- 12 p.m. and is for boys and girls ages 5-8. The focus of this camp will be on improving technical skills - ball handling, passing, receiving, heading, shooting in a challenging but fun environment. Each session will include small-sided games to promote and encourage proper technique in a competitive environment.
Cougar Cub Full Camp
The Cougar Cub Full Camp will run from 9 a.m. -- 3 p.m. and is for boys and girls ages 9-14. The focus of the full-day camp will be on improving technical -- ball handling, passing, receiving, heading, shooting as well as tactical awareness -- speed of play, game management, positioning and more. Each session will include small-sided games to promote and encourage proper technique in a competitive environment. Full-Day Campers will be responsible for providing their own lunch each day.
Cougar Cubs 1: June 12-15 -- 9am-2pm -- 5-14 year olds
9am-12pm - Half - 5-8 year olds ($175)
9am - 2pm - Full - 9-14 year olds ($250)
Cougar Cubs 2: June 26-29 -- 9am-2pm -- 5-14 year olds
9am-12pm - Half - 5-8 year olds ($175)
9am-2pm - Full - 9-14 year olds ($250)
GIRLS COLLEGE ID CAMP - Grades 8 through High School
The third option for Houston Cougar Soccer camp will be the Girls College ID Camp. The Girls College ID Camp is designed specifically for players entering 8th grade or in high school that want to experience what it is like to train at the collegiate level, and for those that are interested in playing college soccer. Girls College ID Camp proved an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a competitive environment while receiving a high level of soccer training from the University of Houston Soccer Coaching Staff. Goalkeeper specific training will also be provided.
Girls ID Camp: June 16-17 -- Entering 8th Grade through High School ($175)
June 16 - 4pm-7pm - All Players
June 17 - 9am-2pm - All Players
