"I can't put into words the impact Emileigh Marsh has made on our team, but to say the least, she's our MVP." -- Junior, Hannah Dauzat
"Emileigh's smile, laughter, and silliness are contagious on the sideline. She is a blessing to this team and I couldn't imagine a better addition to our Cougar family." -- Junior, Georgi Dolence

She is diagnosed with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Periventricular nodular heterotopia when she was born. PVNH is a rare neuronal migration disorder along the brain stem. As a result of her PVNH, Emileigh suffers from some developmental delay, short term memory and seizures. Presently, Emileigh is taking daily medications for her Epilepsy and uses a wheelchair when walking long distances. With all that Emileigh continues to fight through on a daily basis, there is no doubt that she will be a huge inspiration to her teammates
Emileigh lives in Cypress, Texas, and has two pets; a dog named Lulu and a cat named Patches. Emileigh's favorite color is orange, her favorite food is spaghetti and her lucky number is seven. She loves horses and enjoys horseback riding as well as arts and crafts. She noted that her favorite movie is Benji and she enjoys watching the T.V. show Home Free. Emileigh can't wait to be the newest member of the Cougar family.
This Christmas, Santa gave Emileigh the present of homeschooling starting in January 2017. She was being teased in school so this was very exciting news for her! In the fall she came to several games. She sat on the bench during warm-ups, help with the coin toss, and stand with the starting line up during the national anthem. She also came to the teams Halloween practice for pictures.
