Madison Fulp to Join Houston Program

HOUSTON -- Former Louisiana Lafayette defender Madison Fulp will transfer to the University of Houston and will compete during the 2016 season, Head Coach Chris Pfau announced Wednesday.
"I am very excited that Madison has transferred to UH," Pfau said. "She is a very talented and athletic defender that will be able to compete from the start"."
Fulp will join previously announced Katelyn Bub, Rachel Estopare, Morgan Ford, Brook Runyon, Mariela Juarez, Nolin Packer, Madison Soileau, Julissa Depaoli, Kaitlyn Wild, Lauren Holtzclaw, Nicole Young, and Alex Slomecheck to make up the 2016 signing class.
The Round Rock, Texas native comes to Houston after a year at Louisiana Lafayette and will be able to compete 2016 season. Fulp competed with the Lonestar Soccer club in the Champion's bracket at the 2014 national tournament and she was a three-time All-District selection at Cedar Ridge High School winning two district championships and three appearances in the state playoffs.
The daughter of Lee and Jennifer Fulp appeared in seven games for the Ragin' Cajuns, collecting a shot in 317 minutes.
