Soccer Match at Houston Baptist Cancelled on Friday

HOUSTON - Fans of the University of Houston soccer team must wait a little longer to see their team in action.
The Cougars' season opener at Houston Baptist on Friday was cancelled due to lightning and rain in the area. The game will not be made up.
The Cougars and the Huskies squared off for just more than five minutes before play was stopped.
The Cougars now open the season and their 2009 home schedule when they play host to UTSA at 1 p.m., Sunday, on John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.
