Soccer to Host Summer Walk-On Tryout Aug. 5.

HOUSTON - The University of Houston soccer team will hold a summer walk-on tryout at 11 a.m. on Aug. 5 at the Carl Lewis International Complex behind the Athletics/Alumni Center, head coach Susan Bush announced Wednesday.
Those interested in trying out must report to the lobby of the Athletics/Alumni Center at 10:30 a.m., Aug. 4, to fill out paperwork. All potential student-athletes also must have a copy of a physical signed by a doctor from within the past year.
In order to be eligible to participate, all prospects must be admitted to and enrolled in the University of Houston and bring appropriate apparel, including cleats and shin guards.
