A skilled and crafty player that likes the ball at her feet... Will help to create a dynamic midfield with her great mind for the game.
2006 (Freshman):
Played in all 19 matches earning five starts... Tallied two goals and one assist on the year... First collegiate score came in the 12-0 win over Texas Southern... She also assisted on a goal in that game... Scored in UH's 3-1 win over McNeese State... Took a total of seven shots... Both of her shots on goal for the year ended up in the back of the net.
High School:
Member of the varsity team from 2004-2006... District Champs and regional semi-finalists in 2004 and 2005... named JV Woodlands All Tourney Player in 2004... Clements High School Honorable Mention 2004... First team All-District in 2005-2006... All-Region Team member in 2006... 2006 Team captain.
Personal:
Born November 6, 1987 in Sugar Land, Texas... daughter of Frenando and Carmen Echeverria... also recruited by Southwestern University, Texas State, Arkansas State, Tennessee, Southern Miss., and Alabama... chose Houston for its academics and soccer atmosphere... hobbies include skateboarding, skiing, and hanging out with friends.
