Appeared on the mound and at first base for the Cougars... Finished fourth on the staff with three pitching wins and 10 starts... Made his collegiate debut against nationally-ranked Texas at the Minute Maid Park College Classic... Struck out four in four innings against the Longhorns.Earned his first collegiate win with an impressive showing against nationally-ranked Long Beach State in that series finale... Allowed only one hit and struck out five through five innings against the 49ers... Made his first career plate appearance as a pinch hitter late at Southern Miss in the series opener and drew a walk... Threw eight strikeouts in six innings of work at Southern Miss in the series finale... Made his first start in the field at first base and later added a hit against Texas Tech at First American Bank Ballpark... Earned his second win after allowing only two runs with four strikeouts in six innings against TCU in the middle game of that series... Went 2-for-5 with an RBI against TCU in the series finale...
