Received the Bud Obee Award, which is given to the Most Outstanding Player under 6'1" at the NJCAA Tourn-ament...named Midland's co-MVP and received the team's Academic Excellence Award both years...scored 15 points in the third-place game against Southeastern Illinois College...averaged 8.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game...ranked fourth among Western Junior College Conference leaders in assists and steals....also ranked 10th among league leaders and second on Midland's team in blocked shots with 21...earned Honorable Mention, All-WJCAC honors as a freshman after averaging 6.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.5 steals...was ranked second on the team in blocked shots with 13.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended East High School in Memphis, Tenn....named All-District and All-Region selections...selected to play in the Tennessee All-Star and Nike All-Star Games...once recorded a "triple-double" with 44 points, 18 rebounds and 14 steals in a game.

Son of Lonnie and Evalena Latham...signed with Houston after being recruited by Creighton, Arkansas State and New Mexico State....father is the Dean of Minority Affairs at the University of Memphis...mother is a retired teacher...was a volunteer who delivered food to the needy through a church program...is a cousin of Chris Webber of the Sacramento Kings.
