Made his collegiate debut with the junior varsity team at the Battle on the Bend... Was one of two Cougars to break par, firing a 3-under-par 69 during the final round to lead the team and finish in a tie for 13th.

Was an award-winning prepster at Chemainus Secondary... Finished ninth at the National Junior tournament and was ranked third in British Columbia... Received the Junior Order of Mert and placed 28th at the Junior World Championships... Was a member of multiple provincial and national teams... Won the Western Canadian Championships... Also earned honors as a motocross competitor, finishing second at the World Championships.... Was a motocross national champion.
