10/12/2025 11:07:00 AM | Men's Golf
Cougars tee off at Daniel Island Club with 18 holes scheduled each day through Wednesday

The Cougars will play 18 holes each day with the Final Round starting Wednesday morning.
Houston enters its final fall event after finishing fifth at the Trinity Forest Invitational last week in Dallas. Senior Hudson Weibel fired a Final-Round 64, which featured 10 birdies, and then defeated Rice's Lukas Boandl on the second hole of a playoff to win his second tournament title this season.
He became the first Cougar since All-American Santiago de la Fuente to win multiple tournaments in a season and became only the 13th Cougar to shoot 64 or lower in a round.
As a team, the Cougars have posted three straight Top-Five finishes, including the title at the season-opening Argent Financial Classic on Sept. 27-9. Houston has enjoyed sub-par team scores in all nine rounds to date, including a school-record-low 23-under 265 in the Final Round of the Argent Financial Classic on Sept. 9.
