Houston looks for first Big 12 win of the season at 1 p.m., Saturday
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball team remains at Fertitta Center as it faces BYU at 1 p.m., Saturday, in its lone-regular season meeting.
Fans in attendance will receive a free UH women's basketball shoe charm and a player trading card while supplies last. Fans can stay postgame for autographs with junior forward Jorynn Ross.

THE GAME

- Houston will be shorthanded as Amirah Abdur-Rahim, TK Pitts and Briana Peguero will be serving a suspension for an altercation during the game against K-State.

- Houston fell in a tightly contested 71-62 match against Kansas State on Wednesday evening.
- Senior guard TK Pitts was Houston's only scorer in double figures, finishing with 16 points.
- The Cougars were leading 53-49 with 6:38 remaining in the fourth quarter before Amirah Abdur-Rahim, TK Pitts, Briana Peguero and Jenessa Cotton (K-State) were ejected due to an altercation while Kyndall Hunter was ejected for leaving the bench.
- After review, Kansas State was awarded six free throws, converting all six to regain the lead and escape Fertitta Center with the victory.
