
Cooke Scores Career High, Houston Falls to #10/8 TCU

Cougars conclude regular season road slate with 91-56 loss to Horned Frogs
FORT WORTH, Texas – Redshirt sophomore guard Gigi Cooke posted a career-high 25 points as the University of Houston Women's Basketball program fell 91-56 to #10/8 TCU on Wednesday evening inside Schollmaier Arena.
The Cougars (5-23, 1-16 Big 12) were led in scoring by Cooke's 25 points for her sixth-straight game in double figures and 17th double-digit outing this season. Graduate guard Laila Blair scored 15 points and is now 16 away from surpassing Sharion Higgins' 1,957 career points to move up to second on Houston's all-time scoring list.
TCU (27-3, 15-2 Big 12) had three scorers in double figures as Hailey Van Lith led the pack with 26 points, Madison Conner posted 15 and Sedona Prince scored 13 points.
The Horned Frogs were dominant from the 3-point line going 13-of-28 including seven made 3-pointers in the second quarter to help secure the victory against the Cougars.
