Cougars close homestand with 6:30 p.m. meeting against Owls
HOUSTON – After winning its first two games of the season, the University of Houston Women's Basketball program closes its first homestand of the season when it hosts Rice at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, for Houston Heroes Night inside Fertitta Center.

- Veterans can receive free admission to the game using VET TIX.
- The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free Houston Women's Basketball camo t-shirt.
- Clothing/Food Drive in partnership with Sigma Nu. Help support the Houston community by donating the following items: Cold weather clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, shoes, socks, non-perishable foods, water and other useful items. Fans can drop off donations at the Holman Street entrance.
- 2025-26 schedule posters are also available at the marketing table.
- Aisha Osagie will perform the national anthem
- Stay after the game for postgame autographs with freshman forward Jade Jones.

- This marks the first meeting between Head Coaches Matthew Mitchell and Lindsay Edmonds.
