Earlier this season, Houston used a record-setting day to sweep the team and individual championships at season-opening Argent Financial Classic at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La., on Sept. 7-9.
The Cougars used a school-record low round of 23-under 265 to finish with a three-day score of 32-under 832 and win by six strokes over South Alabama.
Senior Hudson Weibel fired his third straight round in the 60s on the way to a bogey-free 66 and tied with Louisiana's Malan Potgieter at 13-under 275 through 54 holes.
