
Soccer Set to Host Huskies For Thursday Match

Cougars look to make history on Thursday for best start in program history
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Soccer program begins a two-game weekend homestand as it welcomes crosstown foe Houston Christian at 7 p.m., for Pups at the Pitch, Thursday at the Carl Lewis International Complex.
With a win against Houston Christian, the Cougars would set the record for the best start in program history at 6-0-1.
Fans in attendance with a dog will receive a half-off ticket and a dog bowl while supplies last.
The game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Matt Pedersen and Alex Parra calling the action. Live stats will be available here.
Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here, or mobile tickets also can be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
Houston will close out its non-conference schedule as it hosts Texas State at 7 p.m., Sunday, for Senior Night. The Cougars will honor their seniors Ava Alaniz, Maddie Bowers, Allie Byrd, Cordelia Cross, Mikaela Gracia, Nadia Kamassah, Caitlyn Matthews and Genaye Sanders prior to the start of the match.
The Cougars then will open Big 12 Conference play as they head to Lubbock, Texas to take on Texas Tech at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14.
TICKETS
Students will be able to claim one ticket at no cost to all home soccer matches. Students can claim their tickets by presenting their student IDs at the gate.
Single game tickets are now available to purchase for $10 per match. Season tickets are also available to purchase for only $42 with family plans (four season tickets) starting at $100.
Mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
