Annie Kim Named to Academic All-District Team

Super senior receives honor for outstanding achievement in classroom and on course
HOUSTON – For her outstanding work in the classroom and on the course, University of Houston super senior Annie Kim was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team on Tuesday.
A four-year letterwinner with the Cougars, Kim posted a cumulative grade-point average of nearly 3.9 while studying public health. She received her bachelor's degree from Houston in May.
She is a soon-to-be four-time member of the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and was a Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar in 2021-22.
On the course, Kim posted a 73.13 scoring average with 14 rounds of par or better while helping lead the Cougars to the NCAA Pullman Regional during the 2022-23 season.
The Seoul, South Korea ,native earned four Top-20 finishes and fired a 66 in the First Round of the NCAA Pullman Regional on May 8, the second-lowest 18-hole total in the Cougars' Regional history.
Kim ended her Houston career ranked second in stroke average (73.82) and third in strokes (7,087) and rounds played (96).
