AMERICAN TOURNAMENT. For the final time, the Houston baseball team will compete in the American Athletic Conference Tournament. The Cougars finished second overall in the regular season standings. This is the second time in program history that Houston has been the No. 2-seed in the American tournament and the highest since 2018.
CONFERENCE CHAMP TITLE. After missing the regular season title by 0.5 games, Houston is hoping to close out the season with its sixth American Championship title. The last time Houston won the American Tournament was in 2017 when the Cougars won both the regular and tournament championship.
EIGHT-STRAIGHT SERIES WINS. For the first time in program history, the Cougars won every conference series. They were the only team to achieve the feat in the American this season.

MURRAY MANIA. Two-way player Justin Murray has made his mark on the Houston baseball program. The junior was named Newcomer Position Player of the Year in the American as well as All-Conference First Team after leading the conference in batting average and stolen bases and second in hits and RBI.
