Blodgett, Grelz Compete in Day 2 of NCAA Zone Championships

Cougars earn spot in 1-meter final
MINNEAPOLIS – Jolie Blodgett and Hedda Grelz competed in the 1-meter at the 2023 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Wednesday from the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

Grelz advanced to finals for a second consecutive day after posting a six-dive scoring total of 270.60 in the 1-meter preliminary action. In finals, the Malmo, Sweden, native finished in 17th-place with a total score of 522.25.

Blodgett concluded her four-year career with Cougars after posting a 37th-place finish in the 1-meter with a final score of 219.35.

Meet action concludes 11 a.m., Thursday on the platform with Chase Farris, Josie Graves and Emilia Waters returning to action. The meet will be streamed here and live results can be accessed by clicking here.

The top-10 finishers in the platform will advance to the 2023 NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships March 15-18 in Knoxville Tenn., at the University of Tennessee's Allan Jones Aquatic Center.
