Cougars earn academic accolades for 14th straight-semester
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving program earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors for the Fall 2022 semester, the organization announced earlier this month.
For the 14th consecutive semester, Houston received this honor after compiling a 3.41 grade point average during the fall. The Cougars are coming off their seventh consecutive American Athletic Conference title win after scoring 1,355.5 points on Saturday at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium in Dallas.
Â
In two seasons at Houston, Head Coach Tanica Jamison has guided the Cougars to two American Conference Championships while also serving as a leader for the CSCAA's Women's Advisory Committee.
Â
"We are thankful for her leadership both on campus and within our coaching community," CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany said.
Â
The CSCAA selected 803 teams from 479 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their team GPA and represent 19,426 student-athletes. Click here to view the full list of CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
