
Season Tickets on Sale Monday for Inaugural Big 12 Season

Seven-game home slate starts as low as $175, highlighted by visits from four in-state foes
HOUSTON – University of Houston Football 2023 season tickets for the program's inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. Seven-game packages for TDECU Stadium start as low as $175 to see the Cougars face four in-state opponents including TCU and Texas.
Fans can purchase seats by calling the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713‑GO‑COOGS (462‑6647) or by clicking here. Fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure the best seats available which includes new lower-level inventory in Sections 121, 122, 132 and 133.
The Cougars will face UTSA (Sept. 2), TCU (Sept. 16), Sam Houston (Sept. 23), West Virginia (Oct. 12), Texas (Oct. 21), Cincinnati (Nov. 11) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 18) at TDECU Stadium. Houston's seven on-campus home games are its most since 2015.
Houston enters 2023 having won a combined 20 games over the past two seasons including back-to-back bowl victories for the first time since 2014-15. The Cougars return Houston area-natives Alton McCaskill IV, who set UH's true freshman rushing touchdowns record in 2021, and Matthew Golden, who broke the program's true freshman receiving touchdowns record in 2022.
Houston faces Texas on Saturday, Oct. 21, in the first meeting as league foes since the 1995 season and for the first time on campus at the University of Houston since Sept. 22, 2001. The Cougars' matchup against TCU will be the first on the campus of the University of Houston since 2003.
Houston hosts West Virginia in the first meeting between the programs. Houston and Oklahoma State will meet for the 21st time overall and first since the Cougars upended the No. 5 Cowboys, 45-35, in 2009. Cincinnati and Houston renew its rivalry in a new league when the squads meet for the eighth time in the last 11 years.
