Houston set to face Texas A&M-Commerce 7 p.m., Friday
COMMERCE, Texas– After a six-game homestand, the University of Houston Women's Basketball program heads on the road for the first time this season to face Texas A&M-Commerce at 7 p.m., Friday, inside The Field House.

THE GAME
- Friday's game marks the third all-time meeting between both teams and first-ever meeting in Commerce, Texas. Houston is set to play its first road game of the season after playing six-straight at Fertitta Center.
- Graduate guard N'Yah Boyd is three points away from the 1,000-Point Club (997 points).
- In the first NET rankings, the Cougars were ranked No. 100.
- A pair of Cougars set career marks as Houston defeated Florida A&M, 79-59, inside Fertitta Center on Sunday afternoon.
- Senior forward Peyton McFarland tallied 21 points to set a new career high.
- Redshirt sophomore forward Logyn McNeil also logged a career-high eight points and six rebounds in 13 minutes of work.
- Houston ranks first nationally and in the Big 12 Conference in steals (16.5).
- Graduate forward Bria Patterson (922) is 61 points away from reaching 1,000 career points with the Cougars. Both Britney Onyeje (181) and Laila Blair (154) have their eyes set on the Houston all-time three-pointers made record of 226 set by Brittney Scott (2007-11).
- A season after being the shortest team in the league and relying on its full court press to make teams uncomfortable, the Cougars are the 11th tallest team in the league this year an average height of 5-11.
- Ahead of the 2023-24 season, the Guy V. Lewis Development Facility saw a face lift to the second story; the floor Houston Basketball has its locker rooms, team rooms and cafeteria.
