Cougars seek fourth win over Green Wave in last five meetings in New Orleans
HOUSTON – After a dominant conference opening win, the Houston women's basketball team heads on the road for its first conference road test of the season at Tulane on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT. The Cougars have won three of the last four meetings in New Orleans.

THE GAME

- Graduate Tatyana Hill recorded her 1,000th point of her Houston career on her third point of the game. Hill stuffed the stats sheet with nine points, nine rebuonds, six steals and five blocks in the Cougars' blowout win over SMU.
- Junior Laila Blair led Houston with 18 points on 70 percent shooting from the field (7-10). Blair also had four assists in the game.
- Both Blair and senior Tiara Young scored in double figures (18 and 13).
