Houston caps conference with three games at Pirates
GREENVILLE, N.C. – The University of Houston caps the regular season when it visits No. 21 East Carolina for a three-game series beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT Thursday. Friday's middle game is at 5:30 p.m. CT and Saturday's finale is at noon CT. All three contests can be seen on ESPN+ and heard on The Varsity Network app.

Houston (34-19, 13-8 American) enters the final weekend of play as the No. 3-seed entering next week's TicketSmarter American Athletic Conference Baseball Championship. The Cougars are tied with UCF but the Knights hold the tiebreaker via head-to-head results.

ECU (35-18, 17-4 American) clinched its third consecutive American Athletic Conference title by completing a three-game sweep of South Florida on Sunday. The Pirates, who have won 11 consecutive games, lead the league in strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.88) and strikeouts per nine innings (9.8).
