Blair named Second Team All-Conference

Following the American regular season Blair earns second career conference award
HOUSTON – Sophomore Laila Blair was named Second Team All-Conference following the conclusion of the regular season, the conference announced Sunday.
Blair finished the season scoring 12.0 points per game through 28 games, starting 24 and 11.3 in conference competition. The sophomore is shooting 84.6 percent from the free-throw line with 3.4 rebounds per game and 28 steals this season.
This was Blair's second conference award after being named to the All-Freshman Team last season. The Houston native was also named American Player of the Week once this season and earned Honor Roll twice.
