Cougars wrap up regular season on Thursday for Senior Night
ORLANDO – The University of Houston Soccer program dropped its final road match of the regular season against UCF in a 1-0 decision Sunday afternoon from the UCF Soccer and Track Complex.
Houston (5-7-3, 1-4-2 American) found its first chance of the match with a header by defender Addie Tate in the 15th minute that was saved by UCF's goalkeeper Caroline DeLisle.
UCF (8-2-4, 6-0-1 American) would get on the board in the 17th minute with a goal by Kristen Scott to seal the victory for the Knights. With the victory on Sunday, UCF clinched the 2022 American Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship title.
UP NEXT
The Cougars return to the Carl Lewis International Complex to play host to American rival Temple for the regular season finale. At 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27. Houston will honor its senior class for Senior Night prior to the start of the match.
TICKETS
Students will now be able to claim two tickets at no cost to all home soccer matches. Students can claim their tickets by presenting their student IDs at the gate.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets by clicking here, or by visiting the ticket office. Mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
