SCOUTING THE GREEN WAVES. Tulane is currently 8-6 overall with a 0-3 mark in conference play. The Green Waves are coming off an overtime loss at SMU on Saturday. Moon Ursin has racked up five American Player of the Week awards this season and is their leading scorer. Tulane has more than one player closing in on the 1000 point mark.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE. The Cougars are currently 6-0 when playing at home. The streak started with the exhibition against Texas A&M Commerce and then tallied home wins against Howard, New Mexico, Jacksonville State, Louisiana and most recently Tulsa. Temple holds a 2-4 record when playing at home while the Cougars also stand at 2-4 on the road after Tuesday's loss to UCF.
CONFERENCE PLAY. The Cougars are now 2-2 in conference play with its last loss to Temple. Tulane holds a 0-3 record in conference with losses to UCF, USF and SMU.
THE SERIES. Tulane holds the advantage over the Houston as the Cougars have a 17-20 record. However, the Cougars have won five of the last six contest
AGAINST TEMPLE. Laila Blair led the Cougars (9-7, 2-2) with 10 points, while Tatyana Hill and Fatou Diagne contributed nine and seven rebounds, respectively.
