Houston Reveals Promotions Schedule

HOUSTON – As the University of Houston Volleyball program prepares to open American Athletic Conference play this weekend, the Cougars revealed their promotions schedule for their remaining 10 home matches inside the Fertitta Center.

The promotions schedule begins this weekend with a pair of matches inside the Fertitta Center.

The Cougars celebrate the 75^th anniversary of intercollegiate athletics at the University at 7 p.m., Friday, against Tulsa. All fans who wear red to the match receive a discounted ticket at the Fertitta Center Ticket Box Office.

Houston follows that with Dads & Daughters at 1 p.m., Sunday, against Wichita State. This package includes two tickets for only $10 with a concessions voucher. Following the match, fans will enjoy receiving autographs from the Cougars.

The Cougars open the month with Fight 4 Molly on Oct. 15 with a portion of the proceeds from the match going toward cancer research. The first 500 fans in attendance also receive Fight 4 Molly t-shirts.

Houston enjoys three more home matches in the month of October with Youth Day & Camper Reunion (Oct. 17, vs. Memphis), Student Appreciation Night (Oct. 27, vs. Tulane) and Nightmare on Holman Street (Oct. 29, vs. Temple).

UH faculty and staff will be recognized during Faculty & Staff Day on Nov. 12 against East Carolina.

On Nov. 14, the Cougars celebrate Senior Day against Cincinnati as libero Torie Frederick, defensive specialist Peanut Childers, outside hitter Kennedy Warren, middle blocker Isabel Theut, outside hitter Kortlyn Henderson, middle blocker Kendall Haywood, and middle blocker Bridget Wallenberger are recognized.

Houston closes the regular season with Coogsgiving (Nov. 24, vs. South Florida) and with Fill Fertitta (Nov. 26, vs. UCF).

UP NEXT
The Cougars open American Athletic Conference play inside the Fertitta Center this weekend. Houston meets Tulsa at 7 p.m., Friday, before taking on Wichita State at 1 p.m., Sunday.

From there, the Cougars hit the road for four consecutive matches, starting at Tulane on Sept. 29 and continuing at Temple on Oct. 3 to open the month.
