Houston Soccer to Honor Senior Class Friday

Cougars hold Senior Night before beginning three-match road test
HOUSTON – Houston Soccer (8-1-1) will be home at the Carl Lewis International Complex for a 7 p.m. match on Friday against Arkansas Pine Bluff. The Cougars will honor its senior class for Senior Night.
The eight seniors will be joined by family, friends, and teammates to honor their accomplishments during their time spent as Cougars. The ceremony will begin at 5:45 with gates and parking opening early at 5:30 to ensure fans can be there to share the special moment with the team.
Following a highly successful weekend of two shutouts, including one over American Athletic Conference rival UCF, Houston looks to add a Friday night win to its record before embarking on a three-game road trip.
The Cougars are now 5-0-1 at home with the most recent victory over Sam Houston State last Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY
Houston Soccer will face Arkansas Pine Bluff for the first time in program history. The Lions are currently 4-5-0 with its most recent match resulting in a 0-2 defeat by American rival Tulsa.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will resume conference play the following Thursday by traveling to USF for a 6 p.m. match in Tampa.
