Houston Soccer Prepares for Sunday Match

Cougars to host Sam Houston State at home
HOUSTON – Houston Soccer (7-1-1) will be home at the Carl Lewis International Complex for a 7 p.m. Sunday match against in-state rival Sam Houston State (2-4-0).
Following a huge win over nationally-ranked UCF to begin American Athletic Conference competition, the Cougars look to continue its momentum and add to its season record.
Sunday's match will be Greek Night. Fans involved in Houston's Greek life will receive the opportunity to win prizes as well as receive special seating behind the goal. Rally towels will also be passed out upon entry.
SERIES HISTORY
The Cougars and the Bearkats have gone head to head seven times since 2005. Houston holds a 6-0-1 record against Sam Houston with the most recent matchup in 2019 which resulted in a 3-0 win for the Cougars. This is currently the largest margin of victory between the two teams.

Houston will be at the Carl Lewis International Complex Friday for Senior Night against Arkansas Pine Bluff at 7 p.m.
