Cougars face Knights in four-game set
ORLANDO, Fla. – Houston closes out its regular season with a four-game series at UCF with doubleheader action beginning at 1 p.m. CT Thursday. The second contest will start 45 minutes following the conclusion of the opener.
Friday's middle game begins at 5 p.m. CT and Saturday's finale gets underway at 3 p.m. CT. All four contests can be seen on ESPN+. Jeremy Branham will have the local call on Stretch Live.

Houston is coming off a four-game series split at Memphis. Houston's 38 hits were the most in a series this season and its .273 average was its best since batting .290 in a three-game set at Texas State (March 12-14). Cougar starting pitching posted a 2.90 ERA in 21.2 innings, holding Memphis to a .235 average.
Seven freshmen appeared in the Memphis series. Over the past two series, six freshmen positional players have made a combined 24 starts and 35 appearances. Outfielder Samuel Tormos and infielder Skyler Trevino have notched their first collegiate hits, runs and RBIs as mainstays the last two weekends.
UCF has lost six of its last seven games after winning 13 of its first 21 league contests. The Knights pace the AAC in walks (243) and stolen bases (84). The squad ranks second in the league in runs (315), home runs (62), total bases (754).
