Two rescheduled matches and two new kickoff times for Houston
HOUSTON - The Houston soccer team updated its 2021 schedule with new times and opponents on Monday. Â
The Cougars, who have not played since Feb. 13 against East Carolina, have two games and two new kickoff times announced Monday by head coach Diego Bocanegra. Â
Coming up this week the Cougars will travel to UTSA on Wednesday, Feb. 24 in a make-up for the match's cancellation last week due to inclement weather. While the first scheduling was set to take place in Houston, this rescheduling will be competed in San Antonio. Â
Bocanegra also announced new kickoff times for two of the team's upcoming American Athletic Conference games. The Cougars' battles with Memphis and South Florida, on March 14 and March 28 respectively, will both now start at Noon. Â
The American also announced this weekend that the SMU game, initially scheduled for February 21 will be played on Wednesday, April 7 at 3 p.m. at home in the Carl Lewis International Complex.Â
