ABOUT the COUGARS
Following an award-winning career as a student-athlete at Texas, Head Coach Tanica Jamison became an assistant coach at Texas A&M in 2011. During her time with the Aggies, she trained six student-athletes to NCAA individual titles, 33 SEC champions and 133 NCAA Championships qualifiers while helping lead the team to five conference titles.

The Cougars have a rich recent history, winning each of the last five American Athletic Conference Championships titles. A year ago, Houston accumulated a meet record 1,009 team points with nine individual championships and five relay titles to claim the five-peat.
Â
Diving Coach Bob Gunter was selected as the league's Co-Diving Coach of the Year, while swimmer Laura Garcia Marin was recognized as the Freshman of the Year.
