Three-day, 54-hole event to air on GOLF Channel each day
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Houston Men's Golf program continues its fall season when it competes at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, beginning Monday morning at Blessings Golf Club.
The Cougars will be part of a elite 10-team field, which includes Arizona, Illinois, Louisville, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCLA and host Arkansas.
Teams will play 18 holes each day through Wednesday on the 7,503-yard, par-72 course.
This will be the third of four fall tournaments for the Cougars. In their most recent action, the Cougars tied for seventh at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La., on Sept. 12-14.

ABOUT the COUGARS
Under the leadership of Director of Golf Jonathan Dismuke, the Cougars will be represented by senior Alexander Frances, redshirt freshman Jacob Borow, junior Austyn Reily, senior Andrew Gibson and senior Braxton Watkins.
Frances leads the Cougars with a 70.83 scoring average and four rounds of par or better, including a 67 in the Second Round at the Marquette Intercollegiate on Sept. 6.
Watkins stands second on the team with a 72.00 average, while Reily is third at 72.67 but tied for second with Gibson with a pair of rounds below par.
TUNE IN
Fans can watch the Blessings Collegiate Invitational each day on the GOLF Channel. Coverage begins at 2:30 p.m., each day on College Central and continues from 3 to 6 p.m.

From there, Houston will take its winter break before opening the spring season at the Border Olympics on Feb. 14-15 at Laredo Country Club in Laredo, Texas.
