Limited number of season tickets available for purchase; Fans encouraged to buy soon to guarantee seats in Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – Time is running out for Cougar fans to see their favorite team in action inside the Fertitta Center during the 2021-22 season.
Houston Men's Basketball mini-plan packages have sold out for this season, Houston Athletics officials announced Tuesday.
Fans still have an option to see the Cougars this year, but less than 100 season tickets are available for purchase in the Houston Athletics Ticket Office. Fans are encouraged to act quickly before supplies run out.
Under Head Coach Kelvin Sampson, the Cougars are the second-winningest program in the nation since 2017-18, piling up 111 victories. Coming off the program's first Final Four appearance in 37 years, Houston Athletics opened additional tickets for sale for the 2021-22 season, and Cougar fans quickly responded.
A limited number of single-game tickets will go on sale Monday morning, but once these tickets sell out, fans will have to wait for the 2022-23 season to watch the Cougars inside the Fertitta Center.

ABOUT the COUGARS
Seven lettermen and two starters return from last season's squad which posted a 28-4 record, advanced to the sixth NCAA Tournament Final Four in school history, captured the American Athletic Conference Tournament championship under Head Coach Kelvin Sampson and stood among the Top Six in both final national polls.
In 2020-21, the Cougars posted a perfect 15-0 home record inside the Fertitta Center and have won their last 25 home games. That ranks as the fourth longest home winning streak in the nation, entering the 2021-22 campaign.
