Kondis Named First Team Arthur Ashe Jr. Scholar

HOUSTON – University of Houston Swimming & Diving graduate, Peyton Kondis was tabbed as a 2020 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar First Team selection. The announcement was made on Monday evening and includes student-athletes from all Divisions of the NCAA.

The award is given to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, while contributing to their communities. This marks the third consecutive season that Kondis has been named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Scholar.

Kondis concluded her senior season with the Cougars in March, closing out her career with numerous individual conference titles and four team conference titles.
