Houston Set to Face Colorado, Northwestern State

Cougars continue home slate with weekend contests
HOUSTON - Houston Tennis will continue its home slate with a set of weekend contests at the Winston Tennis Facility, where it will first take on Colorado on Friday at 1 p.m. CT, before facing Northwestern State on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.
SCOUTING THE BUFFALOES
- Colorado is entering its second season under head coach Danielle Steinberg.
- The Buffaloes finished out their 2019 season with a 10-14 overall record, including a 3-7 finish in Pac-12 play.
- Colorado returns five members of its 2018 squad, and welcomes four newcomers.
- In their last matchup, the Buffaloes shutout Northern Colorado in a 4-0 decision.
SCOUTING THE LADY DEMONS
- Northwestern State is entering its 22nd season under head coach Patric DuBois.
- The Lady Demons finished out their 2019 season with a 18-6 overall record, including a 9-2 finish in Southland Conference play.
- Northwestern State welcomes back four members from last season, and adds four newcomers.
- In their last matchup, the Lady Demons dropped a road contest at UNT, in a 2-5 decision.
