Houston downs Colorado in 4-3 decision
HOUSTON - Houston kicked off its set of weekend matchups with a 4-3 victory over Colorado, Friday afternoon at the Winston Tennis Facility.
MATCH NOTABLES
- Houston pair Chitdara/Gerits were the only Cougars to claim victory in doubles play, getting Colorado out to an early lead, 1-0.
- Phonexay Chitdara solidified a Houston win after a three-set standoff, breaking the tie and putting Houston up, 4-3.
- This marks Houston's first win over Colorado in school history.
