Tatyana Hill leads the Cougars with 11 points
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball team fell to No. 6/4 UConn on Saturday at the Fertitta Center in a 92-40 decision.

Tatyana Hill had 11 points, and Dymond Gladney had nine points for Houston (12-17, 5-10 American), as Megan Walker had 21 points and nine rebounds, Anna Makurat added 16 points for No. 6 UConn (25-3, 15-0 American).
The Cougars couldn't get going offensively, shooting 24 percent from the field as UConn shot 56%, including hitting on 10 of 26 on 3-pointers. The Huskies forced Houston into 20 turnovers, which they converted into 23 points and held a 52-22 advantage in points in the paint.
''We didn't follow the keys to the game,'' Houston coach Ronald Hughey said. ''Transition defense, winning one-on-one battles, competing in one-on-one battles and just challenging.''
The Cougars fell to 0-10 against UConn in its history. Houston lost at UConn, 91-51, on Jan. 11. Houston will return to action on March 2 when the squad travels to Tulsa to face the Golden Hurricane to close out the regular season.
