Cougars collect third consecutive victory
HOUSTON - Houston Tennis tallied its third consecutive win on Monday afternoon inside the Winston Tennis Facility, defeating Brown in a 6-1 decision.
MATCH NOTABLES
- Pairs Chitdara/Gerits and Kendall-Woseley/Pedemonti claimed victory in doubles action, putting Houston on the board early on, 1-0.
- Houston remained nearly perfect in singles action, only dropping one match.
- Senior Phonexay Chitdara and sophomore Elena Tairyan each played second set tie-breakers to secure a win for the Cougars, 6-1.
- Houston now owns the all-time series, 2-1.
