Cougars blank the Jaguars and Ladyjacks in doubleheader
HOUSTON - Houston Tennis wrapped its doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at the Winston Tennis Facility, sweeping Southern and SFA, 7-0.
MATCH NOTABLES
- Houston started out to an early lead in both matches when it secured the doubles point to get on the board, 1-0.
- Versus Southern, the Cougars kicked off singles and notched all six points in just two sets each to blank the Jaguars, 7-0.
- Sophomore Stephanie Belovukovic secured the sweep over SFA, collecting a win in the third set tie-breaker to take down the Ladyjacks, 7-0.
