Andraina Mitia Voavy and Vladislava Razina Join Houston Tennis

Head Coach Valeriya Zeleva signs first freshmen duo in the Zeleva Era
HOUSTON — Andraina Mitia Voavy and Vladislava Razina join the University of Houston Tennis team ahead of the 2026-27 season, Head Coach Valeriya Zeleva announced.
The freshmen duo are the first freshmen signees Zeleva after she was hired as Houston Tennis' head coach in May.
Voavy joins the Cougars from Reunion Island, France and competed for Madagascar. The Frenchwoman earned a trio of victories at the 2023 Billie Jean Cup.
Last season, Voavy went undefeated in her eight matches during her Tennis Club de Coulommiers season while her team also posted a perfect 5-0 record.
Razina comes to Houston by way of Minsk, Belarus where she was a two-time Singles National Champion as well as a two-time Doubles National Champion. She is a five-time ITF champion and a seven-time finalist.
