Women to face Auburn at noon; Men tip off vs. South Carolina at 5 p.m., Saturday in Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – To better accommodate Houston Athletics fans, the University of Houston Men's and Women's Basketball programs announced game times changes for Saturday's games inside the Fertitta Center.
Houston Women's Basketball faces Auburn at noon, Saturday, while Houston Men's Basketball plays host to South Carolina at 5 p.m., inside the Fertitta Center. Both games can be seen on ESPN+.
Men's Basketball ticket holders interested in attending the Women's game are welcome to do so. Those fans should show their Men's Basketball game tickets at the Holman Street doors to claim a General Admission ticket. Gates will open one hour before each game with the arena being cleared between games for cleaning and COVID-19 protocols.
The Basketball time changes were made Monday morning after Houston Football recently announced an 8 p.m., kickoff for Saturday's American Athletic Conference game inside Gerald Ford Stadium in Dallas. That game will air on ESPNU and can be heard on 950 AM KPRC.
Houston Women opened the season with a road victory at Oklahoma, while the 17th-ranked Men's team won three games in the first five days of the season, including a 64-53 win over No. 14/13 Texas Tech on Sunday in the final game of the Southwest Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas.
