Houston Hosts North Texas in Weekend Dual

Cougars open home slate with the Mean Green
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving program welcomes North Texas to the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center for a weekend dual Nov. 20-21.

Due to COVID-19 fans will not be permitted. The meet will be streamed live on the UH Swimming & Diving Facebook and can be accessed by clicking HERE. Live results can be found HERE and via the Meet Mobile app.

Meet action is set to begin at 10 a.m on Friday with an evening session at 5 p.m. On Saturday action is set to begin at 10 a.m.

ABOUT THE COUGARS
Houston returns to action for the first time as a team after winning its fourth straight American Athletic Conference Championship in February. The Cougars return a strong core of student-athletes including senior Mykenzie Leehy who earned conference titles in both the 50 Free and 100 Free earlier this year. Ioanna Sacha returns for her senior season with both league titles in the 200 Back and 200 IM.

On the boards the Cougars are in great shape as Chase Farris and Katie Deininger return after helping UH sweep the diving events at the conference championships in February.

ABOUT NORTH TEXAS
North Texas opens its season this weekend when it visits Houston. Last season UNT finished 11th at the Phill Hansel Invitational in its lone visit to Houston. The Mean Green secured a fifth-place finish in the C-USA Swimming & Diving Championships.
