Cougars drop 2-1 decision to Matadors
HOUSTON - Houston continued its two-match home stand, falling to CSUN in a 2-1 decision Sunday evening at the Carl Lewis Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- The Matadors would get on the board with an early goal inside the third minute.
- CSUN would score inside the 29th minute when the Matadors found a quick breakaway.
- Houston would notch its goal of the match inside the 42nd minute when Reid Morrison scored off of a header, assisted by Mia Brascia.
- Samantha Cude played every minute in-goal for the Cougars, posting six saves.
- The Cougars tied with the Cardinals for shots, 10-10.
- Four newcomers saw action in Sunday's match for Houston.

- Houston is now 2-2-0 on the season.
- The all-time series between Houston and CSUN is now 0-3-0.
