No. 8/6 Houston enters this week's game as winners of its last 11 games, including a 71-59 victory over USF on Saturday inside the Fertitta Center. The Cougars scored the first 11 points of the game against the Bulls and never looked back in winning their 33rd straight home game, the nation's longest active streak.
Against the Bulls, sophomore guard DeJon Jarreau came off the bench to post 17 points, thanks to 5-of-6 shooting from the field. The New Orleans native also added three rebounds with a block and a team-high four assists in the win.
Senior guard Corey Davis Jr. finished with 15 points, thanks to four 3-pointers against the Bulls, while sophomore forward Fabian White Jr. totaled nine points with three rebounds and three assists.
Wednesday's game will be the second meeting between the two teams in 2018-19. The Cougars look to sweep the regular-season series after enjoying a at 94-50 win inside the Fertitta Center on Jan. 23.

ABOUT THE COUGARS
Under the leadership of 2018 American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Kelvin Sampson, the 2018-19 Cougars have posted the seventh-highest win total in school single-season history.
The Cougars won their first 15 games to open the season – the third-longest winning streak in school history – and rebounded from a last-second loss at Temple on Jan. 9 to win each of their last 11 games.
Davis leads the Cougars with 15.7 points per game and ranks among The American leaders in 3-point field goals made per game and 3-point field goal percentage. The Lafayette, La., native also stands among the nation's Top-20 leaders, hitting nearly 90 percent of his free throws.
Junior guard Armoni Brooks stands second on the team with 13.8 points per contest but leads Houston with 6.4 rebounds per game. The Round Rock, Texas, native is one of only three players to rank among The American's Top-16 leaders in both scoring and rebounding.
With two 3-pointers in Saturday's win over USF, Brooks became only the fifth player in school history to drain 200 3-pointers in his career.
Senior point guard Galen Robinson leads the Cougars and ranks second in the league with 5.3 assists per game. The Westbury Christian product ranks fifth in Houston history with 537 assists and stands among the Cougars' Top-10 career leaders in wins, conference wins, games started, games played and minutes played.

• ECU has posted a 10-16 record in 2018-19 with a 3-11 mark in American Athletic Conference play.
• Pirates rank 11th in the latest league standings.
• ECU is 9-7 in home games this season.
• In its most recent action, ECU enjoyed an 85-81 win at Tulane on Saturday night in New Orleans.
• Win against Tulane snapped a five-game losing streak, which included a pair of overtime setbacks.
• Against Tulane, sophomore guard Shawn Williams led all players with 27 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, including 5-of-10 from the arc... Senior guard Isaac Fleming finished with 20 points and a team-high 10 rebounds, while junior guard Seth Leday came off the bench to post 14 points with seven rebounds... Freshman forward Jayden Gardner totaled 11 points in the win.
• This season, Gardner leads the Pirates with 17.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game... Williams stands second with 12.6 points per game, while Leday ranks third with 10.8 points per contest... Fleming paces the Pirates with 3.3 assists per game.
• Head Coach Joe Dooley is in his second stint as ECU's head coach.
• Now in his fifth season overall at ECU and his 10th year as a collegiate head coach.
